Aku tidak lepas peluang menyertai pertandingan tarian disco di Apple Jam. Pertandingan diadakan pada 30 May, 1980. Aku dalam saringan kedua memilih lagu "Money, Money, Money" dari kumpulan ABBA. Cukuplah sekdar mencuba, menangnya tidak juga.
Nota: James Kennedy adalah DJ pertama bertugas di Apple Jam Pub & Discotheque, di alamat 21 Jalan Ali Pitchay. Kini beliau menjadi pemilik restoran Rockafellas di Lumut. Rujukan.

Actually I was . Christopher Chan trained me 1st then I trained James... I was also the Disco Champ held at Apple Jam Ipoh.. I'm still alive and a friend of mine sent me a old letter to remind me of the good old days. Well.. believe what you want to believe..
